Milan, information about the way to and from the airport

If you want to get yourself a new outfit, absorb some Italian style and wonder at cultural treasures, Milan is the place for you. Car:

The best way to Terminal 1 is on the SS336. If you arrive on the Autostrada dei Laghi (A8), take the Busto Arsizio exit to the airport (journey time: c. 30 minutes).

Rail:

The Malpensa Express runs Mo-Fr every half an hour between Terminal 1 and Cadorna station in Milan (journey time: c. 40 minutes)

Buses operate to Milan main station daily from both terminals in 20-minute intervals (journey time: c. 60 minutes).

Taxi:

There are taxis outside the arrivals hall and journey time to the city centre is around 30 minutes.

Hire cars:

There are centrally-located Sixt and Avis rental locations at all Germanwings destinations. Reserve a car here and get great bargains.

Milan Malpensa Airport, with its brand-new Terminal 1, is 45km north-west of Milan. Its two terminals are linked by a shuttle bus. There are several information desks in both terminals.

Parking:

There are long and short-term parking spaces near Terminal 1. They are administered by SEA Gestione Parking (Tel: +39 (0)2 7486 2591) and APCOA (Tel: +39 (0)2 5858 1069). There is also a 'Park & Fly' shuttle bus available.
